Excerpt: My studio practice based paper, continues in the cross-disciplinary vein doctorate, Discontinued Narratives of Migration that is indebted amongst other sources to Mieke Bal’s Travelling Concepts in the Humanities as well as Robert Smithson’s useful concept of the Site/non-site. The paper references a particular work Invisible Words/Invisible Worlds produced during The Big Anxiety Festival in Parramatta 2017 at the socially potent location, the Parramatta Justice Precinct and the Parramatta Female Factory.
